Some of you may have heard that the City Council held a special public meeting to discuss whether or not to extend the City’s sphere of influence, which is the first step to expanding the size of the City. Local golf pro launches new links in LE
When Canyon Lake resident Stan Gonzales, the golf pro at Menifee Lakes, was approached last May about a position at a new course in Lake Elsinore, he was a little baffled. Movie Reviews by Reel People: 'The Other Boleyn Girl'
We always envisioned Henry VIII as someone living large; maybe devouring a dripping turkey leg, wiping his mouth on his sleeve and demanding, “more wine and women!” This 16th century soap opera and elegant costume drama centers on the Boleyn sisters, Mary (Scarlett Johansson, “Nanny Diaries”) and Anne (Natalie Portman, Star Wars series).
Teen Talk: There comes a time in every teen's life...to get a job
The time is nearing where I have used any and every excuse possible to avoid financial responsibility, and now the time has come for me to get a paying job. We all hit that age as teens when we almost have to start paying for our expensive wants and needs. I myself have so many hobbies I can’t go without one.
Reflections: Laughter is the best medicine, just pick your poison
Laughter can make a liver quiver. At least that’s my sister-in-law’s favorite line. For me a good, old-fashioned belly laugh is an affordable alternative to Botox injections. It pulls up the corners of my mouth, lifts my double chin and puffs out my cheeks. Even driving down the freeway, by myself, I smile. Laughter makes me look positively years younger and it doesn’t cost me a penny.

Letter: Outside management
I agree with John Cain, Vito Raso, George Irvine, Travis Montgomery, Darlene Cortez, Rick Bouslog and Kellerman Marick that, as homeowners, we should stringently hold our Directors and our staff responsible for their actions or lack of them.

Spring appears to be on its way. The days seem to be longer and warmer, and there has been just enough rain to make the hills come alive with new growth and splashes of color. That also means new, and sometimes unwanted, growth in our yards.
