Hope springs eternal

Though the wildflowers are beginning to fade, this won't be a spring Canyon Lakers are soon to forget, especially those who took time to romp through Mother Nature's color-splashed canvas in the nearby hills. Here, Jason Henrichsen and Melissa Johnson's dog, Hope, looks like she's positively smiling for joy to be set loose in this "splendor in the grass." |

The Wild Side of Canyon Lake: They're back and still fishing without a license
It was about 4 p.m. on March 1 that I saw the latest cormorant armada descend onto their fishing waters in Canyon Lake. Dorothy and I were standing at the big windows fronting Holiday Bay at the Lodge. We were waiting to greet the Celtic Tenors and their entourage who were to perform that night. A large flock, perhaps 200 birds or so, was skimming down the lake from the north.
Movie Reviews by Reel People: '21'
We love Las Vegas. Everybody plays and everybody wins. Actually, Vegas loves gamblers, it just doesn’t like winners. It’s been said that gambling is a tax on those who failed math, but in blackjack, the exceptionally brilliant can not only win, but break the bank. Card counting isn’t illegal, but is seriously frowned upon by casinos.
Teen Talk: The fleeting high school years
During our latest vacation away from school, I realized my sophomore year is already almost over. Now, for me, there are still two years left to expand my knowledge. For others, there are less than three months left of their high school experience. This entire year seems like a blur and I can’t make heads or tails of it.

GM\'s Nuts and Bolts: Why do we need reserves?
Equipment and major components (like the roads) must be replaced from time to time, regardless of whether we plan for the expense. We prefer to plan and set the funds aside now. Reserve funds aren’t an extra expense – they just spread out expenses more evenly. There are other important reasons we put Association monies into reserves every month:
