Movie Reviews by Reel People: 'Date Night'
Steve Carell and Tina Fey, two of television's funniest comedians, are finally teamed on this long awaited domestic comedy. This screwball comedy is silly, uneven and, if you're a fan, it works anyway.
Notes from road once traveled: What is that 'Thing' enticing travelers on I-10?
U.S. I-10 begins in Santa Monica and ends in Jacksonville, Florida - just over 2,400 miles across the bottom of the country. For half a century, and for about a 100 miles each way from Dragoon, Arizona, travelers along I-10 are urged by large yellow billboards to check out “The Thing?” when they arrive in Dragoon. My brother’s birthday is this month and I found the perfect card for him. On the front of it is the year 1969 in large letters. Inside is a list of that year’s hit TV shows, Top 40 songs, fashion trends and inventions. Standing at the card rack for nearly half an hour, I read through an entire decade of birthday cards. I discovered the 1960s spawned Pop Tarts, Slurpees and Snack Pack Pudding. A productive time period, wouldn’t you say?

Our Finance Committee, the entire POA Board and the forensic auditor never knew Sierra records even existed until we told them. Our Accounting Department knew about Sierra System records and they kept silent.
