Pro proponents Supporters of Golf Pro Dave Lindeman, center, brought their signs to a Board meeting on February 2 to persuade the POA Directors they should not put Dave's contract out for bid. Supporters brought their signs to the Country Club on July 19 when a mandatory pre-bid conference and course tour were scheduled for companies and individuals interested in bidding on Canyon Lake's professional golf services. And supporters are expected to be on hand again next Tuesday, September 14, when the Golf Pro RFP Committee is scheduled to make a recommendation about who should serve as the next golf pro, starting in October. Dave has run operations on the Golf Course, Driving Range and Pro Shop since 1993 and supporters say he has done a good job and should not be replaced. Residents will be able to watch the Board meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. when Directors are scheduled to make their decision.
