Letter: Autism survey

     I represent Canyon Lake on the new Southwest Regional Task Force on Autism, a committee made up of elected officials from each city in our area. To help us provide for the needs of families with autistic children, I need information about Canyon Lake. If you have an autistic child, please call me at 244-7859 or e-mail me at mcraton@cityofcanyonlake.com. All information will be confidential. First, I want to know how many families with autistic children there are in Canyon Lake. Also, what problems are you facing, can you afford treatment (insurance issues), what support/networks you have (or don’t have) and any suggestions you have. Thank you.
