Member Services The parks that can be reserved are Holiday Harbor and Roadrunner Park. Any other park is first come first served. Parks open at 6 a.m. They close at 10 p.m. in the summer and 8 p.m. in the winter. At Roadrunner Park, the pavilion can be reserved for $60 daily. Holiday Harbor has options. The fee to rent all seven tables under the arbor is $60 daily; the fee to rent all four tables in front of the kitchen is $60 daily, and the kitchen also can be reserved for $60, with a $250 key deposit. When a member reserves these areas, a reservation card is placed on the tables by Operations the day of the event. The small arbor areas at Holiday Harbor, overlooking the Lake, are first come, first served (except on the 4th of July). Here are some general rules for parks and beaches: • There are no attendants on duty at any beach. Swimming and water activities are at swimmers’ own risk. • Vehicles must park in designated areas and are not allowed in the parks and beaches after closure. • Golf carts, bicycles and motor vehicles are not allowed on landscaped areas, including turf. • Dogs are not permitted in the Lake, parks or beaches, with the exception of Eastport Park (at the East gate), Emerald Park (on Gray Fox), Harrelson Park (on Longhorn) and Lions Park (on Yellow Feather). • No loud or offensive music is permitted. • No open fires or beach fires are permitted. Charcoal fires are permitted in designated areas and remains must be disposed of in a safe manner (all embers must be extinguished before disposal). For more formal occasions, Blue Bird Hall is $35 hourly. The Towne Center Conference Room, downstairs from the POA office, is $35 hourly and seats about 40. The Magnolia Room, downstairs at the Country Club, is $35 an hour. These parks and facilities can be booked through Kathie Barnes, 244-6841, ext. 312, or Bobbi Goulart, ext. 318, at the POA. The Country Club or the Lodge/Lighthouse can be reserved for banquets, weddings and other special events by calling Rockelle Rogers at 244-6841, ext. 722. The City Multi-purpose Room, downstairs from the Library, is available through Canyon Lake City Hall at 244-2748. |
