The accident that took place Wednesday morning on Canyon Lake Dr. North didn't result in any injuries, but these photos by Bill Corbin and Ruben Flores demonstrate all the emergency responders that appeared on the scene –CLPD, Fire Station 60, AMR Ambulance and Community Patrol. Many believe the high level of public safety services Canyon Lake now enjoys could be jeopardized if the Measure E Public Safety Tax is not passed in June. Cook's Corner: Solve snack bar woes with Salade Nicoise Sandwich
Last weekend I fulfilled the obligation that each of us must do from time to time. Not jury duty, but snack bar duty. As customer after customer ordered, I hurriedly made change for 50- and 75-cent items from the 20-dollar bills I was repeatedly handed.
