Movie Reviews by Reel People: 'Captain America: First Avenger' ready for action
We love an underdog story where a 90-pound weakling kicks sand in the bully’s face. During WWII (the big one), a flawed but shamelessly patriotic young man, who has much to be modest about, asks not what his country can do for him, but . . . you know. The guy has more sensibility than sense, but he’s abundantly clear of his mission in life.
